Funeral services for Marion Clyde Bradley, 93, of Brooksville, FL, formerly of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Bradley passed away in Brooksville, FL on Friday, November 18, 2022.
Active pallbearers will be Mark Bishop, Tim Andrews, Jeff Jobe, Jeffrey Cape, Jason Salivent and Chance Willard. Honorary pallbearers will be all who knew and loved Clyde and those who are in attendance today.
Mr. Bradley was born on October 20, 1929, in Marianna, FL, to the late Marion Lee Bradley and Alma Traylor Bradley. He retired after 42 years of service as a field supervisor for the W. B. Roddenbery Company in Cairo. In Cairo, he was a member of the Rotary Club, Cairo Country Club and he served on the Grady Board of Education. He supported the Florida Sheriffs Association, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and Florida State Firemen’s Association. After his move to Florida, he was a member of the Silverthorn Country Club and the Southern Hills Country Club in Brooksville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomasville.
Survivors include: his companion and his “Little Lady”, Carolyn Waschull of Brooksville, FL; children, Cassandra Rackley (Joel) of Donalsonville, GA, and Lynne Bradley of Thomasville, GA; daughter-in-law, Shirley Banks of Cairo, GA; five grandchildren, Brad Rackley (Angie) of Wynnewood, OK, Ryan Bradley of Harvest, AL, Jason Rackley (Tina) of Diberville, MS, Trey Tomberlin of Thomasville, GA, and Cetoria Tomberlin of Rome, GA; five great-grandchildren, Kyli Silavent (Jason) of Slocomb, AL, Brantlee Willard (Chance) of Dothan, AL, Mary Calin and Kenlee Grace Rackley of Diberville, MS, Connor James Tomberlin of Albany, GA; great-great grandchildren, McKenna Grace and Madelyn Gage Silavent of Slocomb, AL, Tate Allen Willard of Dothan, AL; Carolyn’s children, Jennifer Stone of Woodlands, TX, Amy Tolleson (Chuck) of Carpentersville, IL; nephews, Michael Bradley of Oakland, CA.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his beloved sons, Timothy Bradley and Kendall Bradley; sister, Evelyn Bradley; and a brother, Travis Bradley.
