Richard John “Rick” Zondlo, 81, of Cairo, GA, passed away peacefully at his home in Cairo, GA, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The entombment will be private.
Mr. Zondlo was born on May 17, 1942, in Avoca, PA, to the late Martin Frank Zondlo and Pauline Virginia Tetlak Zondlo. On August 25, 1984, he married Debra Logue Zondlo, who survives. Rick retired from the United States Air Force after a 30-year career. He was stationed all over the world in his military career. Later he was employed as a computer scientist with CSC Corporation. He loved playing the game of golf. He and Deb traveled the states visiting many challenging golf courses. Also, Rick loved flying his collection of radio-controlled airplanes. He was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Reno.
Survivors include: his wife, Debra Zondlo of Cairo, GA; sister, Lorraine Dudley (Chuck) of Round Rock, TX; brother-in-law, Bob Logue (Antje) of Helotes, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by: parents; siblings, Debbie Singer and David Singer; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lt. Col. Harvey L. Logue, Jr., and Sara Harrison Logue.
