David was born February 1, 1965, in Cairo, GA, to the late Aaron Buryl Harrison.

If you knew David, you knew his heart. It belonged entirely to his family. His children and grandchildren were his world — his greatest joy, his proudest achievement, and the reason behind every sacrifice, every laugh, and every plan.

He showed up — every time. He was there in the big ways and the small ones. His love was steady, the kind of love you could count on, the kind that never wavered.

Though he never asked for much, David gave everything to his family — his time, his energy, his stories, his wisdom, and above all, his heart.

David was a dedicated local farmer for 30 years. He shared his passion and love for farming with his son and business partner Jordan Harrison. He was a member of the Grady County Young Farmers Association and a founding member of Southern Gin in Pelham, GA.

In honor of David, hug your people. Show up for the ones you love. And never underestimate the quiet strength of a dad who gave it all for his family.

Survivors include: his wife, Suzanne Harrison of Cairo, GA; his children, Justin Harrison (Hannah) of Thomasville, GA, Jordan Harrison (Caroline) of Cairo, GA, Ella Kate Harrison of Cairo GA; stepchildren, Leah Brogoto of Atlanta, GA, Alyssa Brogoto of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Hank Harrison, Jack Harrison, both of Thomasville, GA, Claire Harrison, Jones Harrison, both of Cairo, GA; siblings, Stanley Harrison (Kristy) of Bainbridge, GA, Lisa Brown (Mark) of Ochlocknee, GA, Regina Miller (Toby) of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
