Survivors include her daughter, Lexie Thornton of Cairo, GA; son, Jamie Simpson of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Terry Thornton (Jessica) of North Carolina, Perry Simpson (Queen) of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Amelia Thornton, Milo Simpson, Othello Simpson and Perry Simpson, Jr.; sister Sarah Parker of Jacksonville, FL; niece, Alisa Tatum (Tim) of Jacksonville, FL; nephew, Richard Parker (Angel) of Jacksonville, FL; great-niece, Alexis Sellers (Wes); great-nephew, Dylan Parker; as well as a host of other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
