Delores Dale Johnson, 74, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Funeral services will be private.
Mrs. Johnson was born on June 30, 1941, Pelham, GA, to the late Gus Willis and Ruby Lee Skeen Willis. On April 12, 1960, she married Maynard Johnson, who survives. She was formerly employed with Ithaca and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: husband, Robert Maynard Johnson of Cairo, GA; sons, Robert Johnson, Jr. (Tracy) of Tucson, AZ, Chad L. Johnson (Mollie) of Cairo, GA; daughter, Tina Michele Howell (Frank) of Wimauma, FL; grandchildren, Zane Layton of Tallahassee, FL, Ryan Layton of Tampa, FL, Art Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, Shelby Johnson of Tucson, AZ, Bobby Poppell, Jr. of Baconton, GA, Cassidi Long (Brandon) of Baconton, GA, Noah Johnson of Cairo, GA, Kensie Johnson of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Layton of Tallahassee, FL, Ryan Layton of Riverview, FL, Cayde Long of Baconton, GA; sister, Peggy Smith of Thomasville, GA.
She was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Firman, Winifred, Bobby, Eulamous and Bennie Willis; sisters, Louise Raburn, Vilene Eidson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Johnson’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation.
