Funeral services for Dennis Rex Bishop, 67, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Bishop passed away at his home in Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

Mr. Bishop was born on December 22, 1950, in Cairo, GA, to the late Lloyd Bishop and Gladys Holloway Bishop. He served in the Army Reserves. He was a loan officer with American Pawn and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: daughter, Tonya Powe of Cairo, GA; son, Todd Bishop of Tallahassee, FL; granddaughter, Hanna Powe of Cairo, GA; brother, Ray Bishop (Eve) of Bainbridge, GA.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Randall Bishop.

The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, September 14, 2018.
