Direik Malcolm Sellers
February 11, 1932 – January 14, 2024  

Funeral services for Direik Malcolm Sellers, 91, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. James Scarborough will officiate.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.  Mr. Sellers passed away at his home, Cairo, GA, on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Mr. Sellers was born on February 11, 1932, in Cairo, GA, to the late Charlie Lindsay Sellars and Bernice Pearce Sellars.  He married Willa Reagan on May 19, 1956, and she preceded him in death on May 21, 2022.  He was a barber for many years and served in the United States Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1952.

Survivors include:  children, Sharol Ansley (Chris) of Cairo, GA, Rodney Sellers of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Daniel Sellers (Courtney) of Montgomery, AL, Gina Hinrichs (Jake) of Maiden Rock, WI, Eric Sellers (Michele) of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Grayson Sellers, Breland Sellers, and Mattie Rae Sellers, all of Montgomery AL, Brittney Munn (Logan), Hannah Williams, Ethan Hinrichs, and Cohen Hinrichs, all of Maiden Rock, WI, Zachary Sellers (Erin), Lindsay Sellers and Brantley Sellers, all of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by:  his wife; his parents; and a sister, Mettie Dale Sellars.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
