Donald Wayne Clark, Sr.
July 17, 1933 – January 11, 2018

Funeral services for Donald W. Clark, Sr., 84, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Clark passed away at Magnolia Manor, Moultrie, GA, on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons.

Mr. Clark was born on July 17, 1933, in Piper, KS, to the late Irvin G. Clark and Iola Reed Clark. On May 29, 1951, he married Nellie Irene Williams Clark, who survives. He was owner and operator of Clark Water Service. The work Mr. Clark enjoyed most was producing cattle, hogs, and poultry, and processing farm raised meat on the farm for family and friends to enjoy. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: wife, Nellie Irene Clark of Cairo, GA; son, Don Clark, Jr. (Vickie) of Tallahassee, FL; daughters, Phyllis Todd (David) of Cairo, GA, Donna Johnson of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Jared Clark of Cairo, GA, Dustin Clark (Cheri) of Thomasville, GA, David Todd, Jr. (April) of Cairo, GA, Darin Todd of Cairo, GA, Jennifer Chatskiy (Dimitry) of Ft. Myers, FL, Matthew Hosfeld of Palmetto, FL; great-grandchildren, Emili Todd, Noah Todd, Grace Todd, Lindsay Todd and Tanner Todd all of Cairo, GA, Jacob Chatskiy and Jonah Chatskiy both of Ft. Myers, FL; brother, Art Clark of Griffith, IN; sisters, Jean Pickett, Sally Harbin, Iola Blythe and Bette Scott all of IN; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; great-grandson, Colton Clark; brother, Jerry Clark.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
