Donnie Silas Cox

Graveside funeral services for Donnie Silas Cox, 63, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Pine Park Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Billy Stephens will officiate.  Mr. Cox passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Mr. Cox was born on September 1, 1958, in St. Petersburg, FL, to the late Silas Cox and Mary Eaton Cox.   On January 25, 1985, he married Sandra Alice Miller Cox, who survives.  Donnie was the owner and operator of Cox Septic Tank for over 30 years.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Sandra Cox of Cairo, GA; children, Chris Waters (Tiffany) of Cairo, GA, Brent Waters (Autumn) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Jade Robertson (Blake) of Cairo, GA, Hayden Waters (Jessie) of Spokane, WA, Gabe Strickland of Cairo, GA, Cannon Waters of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Robertson, Colt Robertson; sister, Betty Cox (Bruce) of Cairo, GA; and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, David Wayne Cox.

The family will receive friends at the home of Chris and Tiffany Waters.
