Doris Daughtry Rehberg

Funeral services for Doris Daughtry Rehberg, 95, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Reno, GA. Rev. Dr. Stuart Owens and Rev. Pete Daughtry will officiate. Interment will be in Gainey Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Rehberg passed away at Southern Pines Assisted Living, Thomasville, GA, on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Active pallbearers will be Jamie Johns, William Johns, Cliff Fitzgerald, Jarrett Lewis, Brandon Lewis, Jeffrey Howard, Kevin Harrison and Josh Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adult 2/Ellen Gainey Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Rehberg was born on June 5, 1929, in Decatur County, GA, to the late William Seth Daughtry and Hilda Eaton Daughtry. On September 5, 1948, she married William Chesley Rehberg, and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2001. She was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and along with her husband, was the owner of Rehberg’s Grocery.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Johns (Jimmy) of Quincy, FL, Nancy Fitzgerald (Randy) of Calvary, GA, Hilda Lewis (Terry) of Tallahassee, FL and Nell Owens (Jeb) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Jamie Johns (Ann Marie) of Quincy, FL, William Johns (Jonell) of Quincy, FL, Cliff Fitzgerald (Leslie) of Cairo, GA, Sara Harrison (Kevin) of Whigham, GA, Jarrett Lewis (Kim) of Pensacola, FL, Brandon Lewis (Brittany) of Panama City, FL, Suzanna Brown (Josh), of Tallahassee, FL, Stuart Owens (Taylor) of Jacksonville, FL and Melissa Howard (Jeffrey) of Shellman, GA; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Woody Daughtry of Albany, GA; sisters, Bertice Maxwell of Cairo, GA and Betty Flounlacker, Pensacola, FL; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Thigpen of Putney, GA; as well as a host of numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers and six sisters.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
