Edna Royals Barbee

Funeral services for Edna R. Barbee, 101, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2020, at Pine Park Baptist Church, Pine Park, GA. Rev. Billy Majors and Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate. Private interment will be in Pine Park Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Park, GA. Mrs. Barbee passed away at Magnolia Place Senior Living in Cairo, GA, on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

Mrs. Barbee was born on February 12, 1918, in Climax, GA, to the late Lonnie D. Royals and Mary Elizabeth Stevens. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her loving daughter, Jean Ring Ansley of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Selena Ansley Harrell (Sam) of Whigham, GA, Tracy Imhoff (Christopher) of Georgetown, GA, Karen Sheppard (Carl) of Chauncey, GA, Gail Ankney (John) of Buford, SC; 8 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her son, Rayford Barbee; sisters, her twin, Eva Lodge, Mary Helen Mills, Lula Bell Cummings, Lessie Curreri; and brothers, Lonnie Royals, George Royals, Daniel Royals.

The family will receive friends at Pine Park Baptist Church on Monday, January 27, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
