Funeral services for Elaine Chason Harrison, 72, of Whigham, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Harrison passed away at her home in Whigham, GA, on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Harrison, Mark Wilkes, David Stewart, Ron Harrison, Brice Edwards and Stevie Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Pearce and Matt Wilkes.

Mrs. Harrison was born on November 15, 1951, in Cairo, GA, to the late Daniel Weyman Chason and the late Edna Earle Wimberley Chason. On July 10, 1970, she married Forest D. Harrison, who survives. She was a faithful member at Pine Level Baptist Church and was a devoted homemaker and childcare provider.

Survivors include her husband, Forest D. Harrison of Whigham, GA; son, Lance Harrison of Whigham, GA; daughter, Natalie Harrison Simpson (Brent) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Logan Harrison (Brooke) of Cairo, GA and Alana Simpson of Cairo, GA; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Harrison of Cairo, GA; sisters, Judy Richards (Jim) of Lenore, ID and Sara Elkins (Jeff) of Trinity, FL; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, LuCretia Chason Whigham.
