Elizabeth “Beth” Miller Baggett
April 3, 1944 – July 6, 2024

Funeral services for Elizabeth Miller “Beth” Baggett, 80, of Deatsville, AL, formerly of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Eli Hendricks and Rev. Charles Coleman will officiate.  Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Baggett passed away at her home in Deatsville, AL, on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Active pallbearers will be Storm Clark, Kennison Clark, Brian Miller, Matt Davis, Trey Hall and Stevie Miller.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Miller, Dustin Patterson and Slade Baggett.

Mrs. Baggett was born on April 3, 1944, in Cairo, GA, to the late Zora Eugene Miller and Mary Louise Lewis Miller.  On January 16, 1965, she married Charles O’Neal Baggett, who preceded her in death on August 24, 2019. She was a devoted homemaker and pastor’s wife.  She was a member of the Pine Hill Holiness Church.

Survivors include: daughters, Barbara Clark (Greg) of Cairo, GA, Dawn Roy (Jeff) Deatsville, AL, Tina Contreras (Michael) of Dawsonville, GA; son, Kevin Baggett (Brandy) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Storm Clark (Emily) of Cairo, GA, Kennison Clark of Cairo, GA, Kayla Davis (Matthew) of Deatsville, AL, Shelby Moseley (Josh) of Deatsville, AL , Trey Hall (Hannah) of Deatsville, AL, Baylee Brothers of Deatsville, AL, Dawson Roy (Kalynn) of Prattville, AL, Joy Baggett of Cairo, GA, Slade Baggett (Bailey) of Perkins, OK, Turner Mabry Baggett of Cairo, GA, Madison Adams (Preston) of Dawsonville, GA, Kennedy Contreras of Dawsonville, GA; great-grandchildren, Grayson Hall, Campbell Davis, Tinslee Brothers, Maddox Ingram, River Hall, Brooks Davis, Lilly Roy, Brody Moseley, Easton Moseley, John Luke Moseley, Lilly Adams, Nadia Baggett; brother, Dick Miller (Nellie) of Thomasville, GA; sister, Diane Patterson of St. Lucie, FL; sister-in-law, Virginia Miller of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; brothers, Ted Miller, Jack Miller; and a sister, Mary Jean Merritt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Baggett’s memory to: Pine Hill Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 1392, Cairo, GA 39828.

The family will receive friends at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
