Funeral services for Elizabeth Davis “Beth” Clark, 86, of Cairo, GA, are on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Gordon Heights Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Al Sessions and Adam Starr will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Clark passed away at her home on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Scarborough, Jimmy Freeman, Dusty Moore, Lane Morrell, Ben Brinkley and Chad Brinkley.
Mrs. Clark was born on January 18, 1935, in Pelham, GA, to the late Jonna Davis and Frankie Vines Davis. On April 8, 1952, she married N. D. “Buck” Clark, who preceded her in death on January 10, 2008. She retired from Ithaca Industries, Inc. and later was a professional seamstress in her home. She was a devoted member of Gordon Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Lisa Sawyer (Tim) of Cairo, GA; Jimmy Clark (Mindy) of Cairo, GA; daughters-in-law, Ellen Clark of Cairo, GA, Janice Clark of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Ben Clark, Laura Phillips (Nicholas), Adam Clark (Sarah), Brian Golden (Stephanie), Jeremy Clark, Kodi Rudd, Kayla Roberts (Kaleb), Allie Clark, Ashlyn Clark, Laine Godwin; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; sons, Keith Clark, Lavon Clark; daughter, Wanda Clark; grandsons, C. J. Clark, Jason Clark; and two brothers, J. A. Davis and Carroll Davis.
