Ellen Rackley Bradshaw

Funeral services for Ellen Rosa Rackley Bradshaw, 85, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA Mrs. Bradshaw passed away at PruittHealth Hospice in Moultrie, on Thursday morning, January 26, 2017.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Rackley, Joel Rackley, Tim Davis, Wayne Josey, Deryl Ouzts and Andy Rackley.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born on July 26, 1931, in Camilla, GA, to the late Joseph Hill Rackley and Rosa Ott Rackley. She was married to Bill Bradshaw, who preceded her in death on April 1, 2014. For many years she was the administrative assistant with Realty Mart in Cairo. Ellen loved to read and write poetry. She was a member and worker with the Living Waters Retreat in North Carolina. She was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Eastside Baptist Church, Cairo.

Survivors include: son, Paul Alred (Nancy) of Norman Park, GA; daughter, Amy Hardwick (John) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Katie Alred of St. Augustine, FL, Mary Elizabeth Hardwick Griffin of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Reese Cooper Welch of Cairo, GA, Baley Hanford Welch of Tallahassee, FL, Christain Logan Griffin of Thomasville, GA; sister, Linda Hall of Whigham, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Thomas Edgar Alred, Frank Carson Collins, Bill Bradshaw; grandson, Evan Alred; brothers, O. V. Rackley, Hugh Rackley, Oman Hill Rackley, Ronald Rackley; and sisters, Pauline Boyette, Lucille Davis, Faye Peel, Susie Era Lodge.
