Elmer Carroll Walden, 68, of Whigham, GA, passed away at his home on September 29, 2024. He will be interred in Providence Community Cemetery, Whigham, GA. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Walden was born on March 29, 1956, in Cairo, GA, to the late Wayman Luther Walden, Sr. and Carolyn Eudene Polk Walden. Carroll was a retired mechanic. He was also a Whigham Volunteer Fireman and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Deborah Jean Edwards Walden of Whigham, GA; son, Michael Walden (Alex) of Damascus, GA; grandchildren, Monica Hope Callahan (Terrell) of Midway, GA, Nicholas Keith Walden of Whigham, GA, Aiyana Walden of Damacus, GA, Hawk Walden of Damascus, GA; great-grandchildren, Ava Callahan, Everleigh Walden, Chloe Salter; brothers, Wayne Walden of Dennison, TX and Donnie Walden (Nancy) of Ft. Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.
