Faye Green Harrison

Funeral services for Faye Green Harrison, 79, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Ed Green will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Climax, GA. Mrs. Harrison passed away at Legacy Village at Plantation Manor, Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.

Mrs. Harrison was born on September 24, 1940, in Cairo, GA, to the late Lannis Lamar Green, Sr. and Elizabeth Maidee McKown Green. She married Orren Kermit Harrison who preceded her in death on September 22, 2015. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Faye and her late husband loved to travel to the mountains. She loved to antique shop, crafting and being with family. She especially loved her canine companion, “Buddy”.

Survivors include: brothers, Jimmy “Bo” Green of Melbourne, FL, Robert “Bobby” and Cindy Green of Cairo, GA; sister, Annie Lee Singletary of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; brothers, Raymond Greene, Buz Green; and a sister, Jean G. Wilson.
