Services for Gene Edward Trawick, 74, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Eastside Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Max Kelly, Jr., Rev. Lucy Baker, and Rev. Carl Harrell will officiate. Interment will be private. Mr. Trawick passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.

Mr. Trawick was born on June 3, 1941, in Bertha, AL, to the late George E. Trawick and Jessie Wilma Snell Trawick. On May 6, 1977, he married Debora Singletary Trawick, who survives. He was an automotive mechanic, and owner of Trawick’s Garage. He was a member of Capel Baptist Church. Mr. Trawick served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by: his wife, Debora Trawick of Cairo, GA; daughters, Lisa Trawick of Cairo, GA, Gennie Woods (Wayne) of Meigs, GA; sons, Mike Trawick of Cairo, GA, Brad Trawick of Cairo, GA; daughters-in-law, Cindy Trawick of Cairo, GA, Robin Trawick of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Dylan Trawick, C. J. Trawick, Hailee Trawick, Colby Trawick, Garrett Woodell, Alanah Woodell, all of Cairo, GA, J. W. Woods, Trawick Woods, and Eli Woods all of Meigs, GA; brother, Lanny Trawick (Joan) of Pansey, AL; mother-in-law, Velma Singletary of Cairo, GA.
He was preceded in death by: parents; son, Chris Trawick; sister, Annette Gainous; father-in-law, Bill Singletary.
