George Henry Barto, 62, of Whigham, GA, passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, Georgia, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Barto was born on September 14, 1955, in New Milford, CT, to the late Myron George Barto and Florence Ethel Ferris Barto. He retired from Columbia County, New York.

Survivors include: fiancé, Lisa Nowell of Whigham, GA; three step-children; and a brother, Myron Barto, Jr. and his wife, Tammy of Ruby, NY.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, his wife, Dawn Barto; and a brother, John Barto.
