Funeral services for Geraldine Cox, 79, of Grand Ridge, FL, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Neal Baggett will officiate.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Pine Level Cemetery, Cairo GA. Mrs. Cox passed away peacefully at her home in Grand Ridge, FL, on Monday, March 18, 2019.

Active pallbearers will be Hunter Murkerson, Mikey Bishop, Gary Lewis, Cody Rogers, Chris Maples and Ezra Murkerson.

Mrs. Cox was born on June 25, 1939, in Thomasville, GA, to the late George William Cox and Lillian Lucille Gwaltney Cox. She served her country in the United States Army. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: son, Ricky Rogers (Darothy) of Sneads, FL; daughters, Debra Sue Rogers of Cairo, GA, June Yvonne Rogers of Sneads, FL, Bonnie Rogers Jones (John) of Grand Ridge, FL; grandchildren, Whitney Lewis (Gary), Nichole Rogers, Holly Murkerson-Bishop (Mikey), Chip Weeks, Jr., Miranda Rogers, Summer Harrison (Scott), Cody Rogers, William Powell, Jr., Shelby Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Reed Murkerson, Michael Lee Bishop, III, Lori LeeAnne Bishop, Bentley Weeks, Bradley Weeks, Logan Harrison.

She was preceded in death by: parents; son, Preston Floyd Rogers; grandchildren, Clarence L. “Lance” Murkerson, Amanda Rogers-Ramirez; and a brother, Willie James Cox.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
