Glynnell Shiver Lee

Graveside side funeral services for Glynnell Shiver Lee, 96, of Cairo, GA, are at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 9, 2021, in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Adam Starr will officiate.  Interment will be in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Lee passed away at her home on Friday, August 6, 2021.

Mrs. Lee was born on March 1, 1925, in Cairo, GA, to the late Spence Warner Shiver and Ella Dekle Shiver.  On February 12, 1950, she married Carlton Clarence Lee, who preceded her in death on February 8, 2001.  She worked as secretary/bookkeeper with D&L Diesel Services for many years until her retirement.  She was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church in Cairo.

Survivors include: sons, Gary Lee (Gwen) of Cairo, GA, Craig Lee of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Keith Lee (Dawn) of Cairo, GA, Amy Starr (Adam) of Cairo, GA, Thomas Lee (Jessica) of Eagle River, AK, Sarah Lee of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Colin, Skylar, Bralyn, Joe, Naomi, Madison, Archer; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and ten brothers and sisters.
