Harold Hulan Walker

Harold Hulan Walker, 82, of Cairo, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 29, 2016.
Mr. Walker was born on June 30, 1933, in Plant City, FL, to the late Harry A. Walker and Mamie Reichert Walker. After he graduated from Cairo High School, he completed a four-year apprenticeship program in Newport News, VA. Harold served his country for two years in the U.S. Army. He retired as a ship fitter from the Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock.
Harold enjoyed golf, was a gifted writer, an avid chess player and a skilled woodworker who loved spending his spare time in his shop creating for his friends and family.
Survivors include: son, Harold H. “Kelly” Walker, Jr. of Ft. Myers, FL; granddaughter, Camelia S. Walker of Jacksonville, FL; and a sister, Marjorie Walker Harrison Coffee of Thomasville, GA.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brother, Leon Walker; brothers-in-law, Guy W. Harrison and Charles E. Coffee.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
