Graveside services for Hazel Louise Reagan Floyd, 92, of Warner Robins, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017, in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Rev. Chris Allen will officiate. Mrs. Floyd passed away at the Gardens of Fayetteville, GA, on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
Active pallbearers will be Lamar Boman, Derek Boman, Matthew Boman, Dylan Stone, Butch Reagan and Steve Reagan.
Mrs. Floyd was born on October 4, 1924, in Cairo, GA, to the late Jesse Leander Reagan and Ruth Hesters Reagan. She married H. R. Floyd, who preceded her in death on June 8, 2007. Hazel was a devoted wife and mother and an excellent homemaker. She was famous for her crochet work and won numerous blue ribbons and even “Best In Show” for one of her crocheted table cloths at the Georgia National Fair in Perry. She loved working with flowers and plants and sharing her knowledge of horticulture with family and friends. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church in Warner Robins, GA.
Survivors include: daughters, Gloria Stone of Port Saint Joe, FL, Mary Ruth Boman (Lamar) of Brooks, GA; grandchildren, Sharon Stone of Inverness, FL, Derek Boman (Tiffany) of Greer, SC, Matthew Boman of Los Angeles, CA, Brooke Boman of Atlanta, GA; and great-grandchildren, Monica Lopez of Glendale, CO, Dylan Stone of Port Saint Joe, FL, Leander Boman of Greer, SC.
She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; son-in-law, “Stoney” Stone; grandson, David Stone; brothers, George Reagan, Aubrey Reagan, Wilburn Reagan, Ernest Reagan, Herschel Reagan, Odell Reagan, Wyman Reagan; and sisters, Auburn Reagan, Evelyn Hatcher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Floyd’s memory to your local hospice organization.
