Funeral services for Helen Yvonne Castleberry, 66, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018, at the Church of Grady County, Cairo, GA. Pastor Mike Mobley will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, GA. Ms. Castleberry passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Monday, October 1, 2018.

Ms. Castleberry was born on May 31, 1952, in Thomasville, GA, to the late James W. Castleberry and Annie Holloway Gunn Castleberry. She was a member of the Church of Grady County.

Survivors include: her brother, Allen Castleberry (Ernestine) of Cairo, GA; sisters, Glenda Creech (Floyd) of Cairo, GA, Macie Abrams of Cairo, GA, Louise McConnell of Cairo, GA, Dorothy Ramsdell of Wellford, SC; sister-in-law, Billie J. Gunn of Port Charlotte, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. The family extends a special thank-you to Peggy Bish and the staff of Grady General Hospital for their love and care.

She was preceded in death by: her parents: a brother, Jimmy Gunn; and a sister, Bernice Sumnerlin.

Memorials may be made in Ms. Castleberry’s memory to the Church of Grady County, 1400 S. Broad Street, Cairo, GA 39828.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
