Hollis Herbert “Pappy” Singleton
April 16, 1939 – May 21, 2023

Funeral services for Hollis Herbert “Pappy” Singleton, 84, of Pelham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Connection Assembly, Thomasville, GA.  Rev. Brent Welch will officiate.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mr. Singleton passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Active pallbearers will be Jim Jordan, Camden Woody and Tyler Lamb.

Mr. Singleton was born on April 16, 1939, in Pensacola, FL, to the late Walter Ezell Singleton and Carlie Bell Baker.  He married Mary Lamb Singleton, who survives.  He retired as a truck driver.  He was a member of the Connection Assembly in Thomasville.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Singleton of Cairo, GA; children, Mark Singleton of Pensacola, FL, Michelle Jones of Mexico; step-children, James H. Lamb (Beth) of Cairo, GA, Joey H. Lamb of Pelham, GA, Sherry Lamb (David) of Pelham, GA, Tammy Bridges (Michael) of Barwick, GA; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parent.

The family will receive friends at the Connection Assembly immediately following the funeral service.
