Hunter Bruce Morrison
April 16, 1994 – July 11, 2022

Hunter Bruce Morrison, 28, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022.

Hunter was born April 16, 1994 in Cairo, Georgia.  He was a 2012 graduate of Cairo High School.  He was a 2017 graduate of Valdosta State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and met the love of his life, Olivia.  After graduation, Hunter began his career in commercial truck sales where he often surpassed sales goals.  Shortly after beginning his career, Hunter and Olivia decided to settle down in Forsyth and get married.  He will be remembered most by his giving heart and selfless love.  Hunter’s legacy lives on through his precious son, Tanner Banks Morrison, who was born June 19, 2022.

Survivors include his wife, Lauren Olivia Morrison of Forsyth; one month old son Tanner Morrison; parents, Darren Morrison (Cassie) of Cairo and Tracy Buckhalter (Chris) of Cairo; sister, Macey Alexander (Garrett) of Savannah; stepbrother, Cannon Buckhalter of Cairo, GA; grandparents, Arthur and Lenora Thomas of Cairo and Mary Ann White of Cairo; and a niece, Sutton Gray Alexander of Savannah, GA.  He was proceeded in death by his grandfather, Danny Morrison of Cairo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at Rock Springs Church (Macon Campus, 6601 Zebulon Road, Macon, GA 31220) with burial at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery, in Cairo, Georgia.
