James “Jim” Harvey Phillips

Memorial services for James “Jim” Harvey Phillips, 72, of Moultrie, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Ione Freewill Baptist Church of Pavo, GA. Pastor Teddy Williamson and Pastor Teron Stonecypher will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Mr. Phillips passed away at his home in Moultrie, GA, on Monday, December 25, 2017.
Mr. Phillips was born on July 10, 1945, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Harvey Thomas Phillips and Bobbie Parramore Phillips. On August 19, 1966, he married Naomi Crawford Phillips, who survives. He was a truck driver with Armelinia Express Lines. He enjoyed horses, motorcycles, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: his wife, Naomi Crawford Phillips of Moultrie, GA; daughter, Janice Wasiqi (Bob) of Ft. Worth, TX; son, Jamie Phillips (Bonita) of Bushnell, FL; grandchildren, CaSea Rodriquez, Moultire, GA, Trever Wasiqi of College Station, TX, Mahaylah Phillips of Moultire, GA, Karmen Blackburn of Moultrie, GA; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Isaiah Rodriquez of Moultrie, GA; sisters, Shirley Jean Smith (Jerry) of Thomasville, GA, Dieann Paltrow (Doug) of Bridgewater, VA, Peggy Kimbrel of Kingsville, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; four (4) brothers, Bud, Albert, Cecil Ted and Rondle Phillips; nephews, Keith Kimbrel and Jerry C. Smith.
