Funeral services for Jeanette Bell Arline, 90, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2017, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor DeWayne Atkinson and Pastor Johnny Moore will officiate. Interment will be in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Arline passed away at her home in Cairo, GA, on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2017.
Active pallbearers will be Mike King, Peyton Sexton, Jacob Guidi, John McNair, Lynn Arline, Brooker Wolfe and Ron Arline.
Mrs. Arline was born on March 6, 1927, in Quincy, FL, to the late Tommy Alexander Bass and Mattie Lee Bowman Bass. On July 14, 1961, she married Larry B. Arline, who survives. She was a nurse and retired from Roswell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of the Cairo Church of God.
Survivors include: husband, Larry B. Arline of Cairo, GA; daughter, Alison Arline of Panama City Beach, FL; son, Carl Bell (Donna Sue) of Crossville, TN; grandchildren, Peyton Sexton of Grayson, GA, Maddie Sexton of Grayson, GA; great-granddaughter, Emmalynn Sexton of Grayson, GA; sisters-in-law, Betty Jones of Cairo, GA, Lucy Whigham (Terry) of Vidalia , GA, Pat Arline of Snellville, GA, Lucy Arline of Peachtree City, GA, Sandra Arline of Cairo, GA; brother-in-law, Lynn Arline (Judy) of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Dora Richards, Christine McLendon, Jeanelle Hitchcock; and a brother, Broward Bass.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, June 9, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
