John K. Grebey, Sr.
September 22, 1949 – April 4, 2018

John K. Grebey, 68, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, FL, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. John’s wishes were to be cremated and his family will honor him with a memorial service in the Everglades National Park at a later date.

Mr. Grebey was born on September 22, 1949, in Miami, FL, to the late James F. Grebey and Sara Zerbey Grebey. On July 14, 1972, he married Barbara Jean Roddenberry Grebey, who survives. He retired as a salesman in office products and office machines.

Survivors include: his wife of 45 years, Barbara Jean Grebey of Cairo, GA; son, John K. Grebey, Jr. (Mary) of Cairo, GA; daughter, Christina Crawford (Richard) of Cairo, GA; grandson, Tyler Grebey, Andrew Crawford, Cameron Crawford, all of Cairo, GA; sister, JoAnn Smith of Bainbridge, GA; and nephews, Billy Lavoie, Frankie Lavoie, both of Bainbridge, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter on Friday, April 6, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
