Funeral services for Johnny Ray Baggett, 64, of Pelham, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2017, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Services will conclude in the church. Interment will be in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Baggett passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, October 13, 2017.
Active pallbearers will be Tim McGinty, Justin McGinty, John Henry Mitchell, Robert Lee, Philip Chambliss and Lenward Folsom.
Mr. Baggett was born on August 4, 1953, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Stonewall Baggett and Sarah Griffin Baggett. On February 26, 1974, he married Becky Norton Baggett, who survives. He was the owner and operator of Baggett Logging. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife of 43 years, Becky Norton Baggett of Pelham, GA; daughter, Michelle Lawhorn (Bobby) of Cairo, GA; son, Ashley Bryan (Tammy) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Ashlynn Bryan of Pelham, GA, Katelynn Bryan of Pelham, GA, Hailey Carroll of Pelham, GA, Logan Sullivan of Cairo, GA; brother, Bill Baggett (Dorothy) of Ochlocknee, GA; sister, Josephine Miller of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, Carroll Bryan: brother, Jimmy Baggett; and a brother-in-law, Mike Miller.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
