Funeral services for Kathryn Bray Williams, 63, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at the First Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Chris Allen, Rev. Ron McCaskill and Pastor DeWayne Atkinson will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Williams passed away at her home in Cairo, GA, on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Active pallbearers will be Daniel Marshall, Jarrett Harrison, Bill Elkins, Asa Childree, Daniel Chastain and Marcus Bracewell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Lynch, LeVerne Whigham, Kenneth Butler, Rick Johnson, Cary Chastain, Jimmy Moore, Mark Childree, Steve Maxwell, Bobby Williams, Van Ponder, Michael Sellers, Freddie Lyle, David Schrader, Jerry Wayne Baggett, Gene Sheffield and Phillip Clark.
Mrs. Williams was born on May 22, 1956, in Bedford, KY, to the late David Bray and Daisie Billingsley Bray Schoultheis. On December 14, 1985, she married Jack Williams, Jr., who survives. She retired from the Department of Juvenile Justice. Earlier she worked with the State of Georgia Department of Pardon and Parole. She was an active member of the Southern Magnolia Ladies Club and previously served in the Kiwanis Club, School Attendance Task Force, Children’s Advocacy Board, and Grady County Children & Youth. She attended First Baptist Church Cairo where she was a member of the Go Getters Sunday School Class; she served on the Benevolence Committee and on various other committees. She regularly attended Bible Study on Thursday mornings. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends, going shopping with her dear friend, Susan, going to the movies and out to dinner for Girls Night Out.
Survivors include: her husband, Jack Williams, Jr. of Cairo, GA; children, Alison Williams Harvey (Tim) of Thomasville, GA, Jack Alexander Davis (Allicia) of Thomasville, GA, Matt Williams (Jill) of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Cayden Harvey, Kate Harvey, both of Thomasville, GA, Kemeren Harper, Lady-Arwen Davis, both of Thomasville, GA, Hayes Williams, Carter Williams, both of Richmond, VA, mother, Daisie Bray Schoultheis of Marianna, FL; brother, David Bray (Sarah) of Ocala, FL; sisters, Sheila Heafner of Marianna, FL, Carla Raines (Larry) of Sneads, FL; and her dear friends, Mike and Susan Chastain of Cairo, GA and their son Daniel Chastain (Joeanna) of Leesburg, GA.
She was preceded in death by: her father; and grandparents, Elmer and Gladys Teeters, Joseph and Carrie Bray.

The family will receive friends at the Fellowship Hall of the Cairo First Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
