Graveside memorial services for Katie Ellen Salter, 32, of Cairo, GA, are on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Trinity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Rev. Bob Knight and Rev. Conrad Salter will officiate.  Ms. Salter passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Honorary pallbearers will be Allan Womble, Ace Womble, Alex Flowers, Daniel Womble, Randy Burks, Carl Burks and Keith Taylor.

Ms. Salter was born on November 22, 1988, in Thomasville, GA, to Kenneth Wayne Salter and Charlotte Ellen Womble Salter.  She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church in Whigham.

Survivors include: her parents, Kenneth and Charlotte Salter of Cairo, GA; grandparents, Ida Lou Salter of Bainbridge, GA, Charles Womble of Cairo, GA; uncles and aunts, Charles Wayne Womble (Theresa) of Crawfordville, FL, Garry Salter (Karon) of Cairo, GA, Paul Salter (Phyllis) of Colquitt, GA, Donna Green (Eddie) of Bainbridge, GA, Brenda Miller of Dothan, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude Nathan Salter and Jessie Womble.
