Private funeral services for Larry Bernard Arline, 88, of Cairo, GA, will be held at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate. Interment will be in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Arline passed away at the home of his daughter in Panama City Beach, FL, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
Active pallbearers will be Todd Arline, Ron Arline, Peyton Sexton, John Peel and Mike King.
Mr. Arline was born on December 31, 1931, in Cairo, GA, to the late Ruel Leaston Arline and Iris Logue Arline. He served his country in the United States Army. On July 8th, 1960, he married Jeanette Bass Arline, who preceded him in death on June 7, 2017. After graduating from Florida State University, he worked in real estate and insurance. He owned and operated Arline Realty in Mexico Beach. He was also Vice-President of Foundation Life Insurance in Atlanta, GA. Larry was a member of the American Legion in Cairo and he was a member of the Cairo Church of God.
Survivors include: daughter, Alison Peel (John) of Panama City Beach, FL; step-son, Carl Bell (Sue) of Fairfield Glades, TN; grandchildren, Peyton Sexton of Grayson, GA, Maddie Sexton of Grayson, GA; great-granddaughter, Emmalynn Sexton of Grayson, GA; sisters, Betty Jones of Cairo, GA, Lucy Whigham (Terry) of Vidalia, GA; brother, Lynn Arline (Judy) of Thomasville, GA; sisters-in-law, Lucy Arline of Peachtree City, GA, Pat Arline of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Howard Arline, Ross Arline, Bill Arline, Benny Arline; sister, Bobbie Arline; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Arline.
