Larry Roger White

Funeral services for Larry Roger White, 79, of Pelham, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Haskell White will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. White passed away at his home in Grady County, GA, on Thursday, July 12, 2018.

Mr. White was born on October 1, 1938, in Pelham, GA, to the late Anderson Rodenberry White and Myrtice Inez Gray White. Mr. White served his country in the United States Army. He was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and of the Baptist faith. On November 11, 1961, he married Carolyn Virginia Mathis White, who survives.

Survivors include: wife, Carolyn Virginia White of Pelham, GA; daughters, Elizabeth White Wilson (David) of Pelham, GA, Tracy White of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Eric White (Charley) of Sale City, GA, Heath White of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Bentley White of Sale City, GA, Hartley White of Sale City, GA, Emily White of Bainbridge, GA, JanieGrace White of Cairo, GA; and a brother, Ronald H. White of Atlanta, GA.

He was preceded in death by: parents; and a son, Larry Thomas White.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. White’s memory to: Bethany Hospice & Palliative Care, 2012 E. Pinetree Blvd, Suite A, Thomasville, GA, 31792.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, July 14, 2018, immediately following the service.
