Lauchlin “Bubba” McKinnon Rozier, III

Lauchlin “Bubba” McKinnon Rozier III, 67, of Thomasville, GA, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, at his home.
A viewing and visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26th between 5 – 6:30 p.m. His family invites all who knew Bubba to come celebrate his life and legacy. Private graveside funeral services will be in Oakview Cemetery, Camilla, GA.
Born in Atlanta, GA, on July 16, 1957, to Lauchlin McKinnon Rozier Jr. and Lorena Coleman Rozier. Raised in Camilla, GA, he was the beloved spouse of Carol Moore Rozier for 38 years and a devoted father to Robert Rozier (Luke Dunn) and Ethan Rozier (Kylie Humphries). He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters, Libby Rozier Beauchamp (Robert “Bob” Beachamp) of Americus, and Susan Rozier German of Stockbridge, sister-in-law Karen Moore Mills of Climax, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A graduate of Westwood High School in Camilla, he received his associate degree in science from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a Bachelor degree of Science in agriculture at the University of Georgia. Throughout his career he excelled in property appraisal, banking, and farming, ultimately retiring as a Certified General Real Property Appraiser. Additionally, in his lifetime, he served on the Thomas County Board of Equalization and as a Coast Guard auxiliary. He was widely respected for his meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and uncompromising integrity.
Outside of his professional life, Bubba was passionate about supporting his sons in their many ventures, such as assisting as a Senior Boy Scout master, Eagle Board review member, and dedicated Thomas County Central Band parent. A natural jack-of-all trades, he rarely found a hobby that he couldn’t master. He found joy in preparing grand, celebratory dinners for his family and was known for his lovable wit and dry humor. Bubba’s family and friends will remember him for his unwavering loyalty, his big heart, and his immeasurable love for his family.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, and his grandparents, Willie and Katherine Coleman, and Dr. Lauchlin M. Sr. and Harriet Rozier.
