Leslie Harrison, 77, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Magnolia Place Senior Living in Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.   The family will have a private memorial service at his daughter’s home, Maxwell Creek Farms.

Mr. Harrison was born in Albany, GA, to the late Lester Harrison and Mamie Taylor Harrison.  After college he served his country in the Army National Guard of Florida.  Until his retirement in 2021, he was employed with Keith McNeill Plumbing Contactors, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL.  Leslie was lovingly known as Lett by his family and friends.  He loved his family, FSU baseball, fishing, and the outdoors.

The family wishes to extend gratitude to all those who have reached out to offer their presence and prayers. It generates joy in our hearts to witness the exemplified love of Jesus poured out through your care, concern, love, and prayers.

Survivors include: his daughters, Lezlie “Faith” Wilson (Bryan) of Cairo, GA, Holly Paige Ellison (Charlie) of Fayetteville, GA; grandchildren, Ashleigh Grace Wilson of Tallahassee FL, Lillian Jeanette Ellison, Camden Harrison Ellison, both of Fayetteville, GA; sister, Janet Harrison Mills of Tallahassee, FL; brother, John Gainous (Ethel) of Cairo, GA; sister-in-law, Joy Martin Harrison of Albany, GA; mother of his children, Theresa Tidwell of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his birth parents; parents who raised him, Bill and Grace Harrison Gainous; and a brother, Lester Taylor Harrison.
