Linda Rackley Hall
July 14, 1923 – March 31, 2025

A Celebration Of Life Service for Linda Rackley Hall, 101, of Whigham, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Whigham Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. Harold Burrell and Rev. Tim Dudding will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mrs. Hall passed away at Archbold Living-Cairo, GA, on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Mrs. Hall was born on July 14, 1923, in Mitchell County, GA, to the late Joseph Hill Rackley and the late Rosa Mahale Ott Rackley. On August 28, 1941, she married Oliver J. Hall, Jr., and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2003. She was a florist and a member of Whigham Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for over 75 years. She taught an adult class in Vacation Bible School for several years. She prepared many meals for church members and families in their time of need. She volunteered at the Whigham Nursing Home and dressed up as “Raggedy Ann” and polished up the ladies’ fingernails. Mrs. Hall enjoyed the times her children and grandchildren would come and visit from out of town and would celebrate special occasions with all the family.
Survivors include her children, Rosalyn Hall Curenton of Palm Coast, FL, Gayle Hall West of Woodstock, GA, Philip Hall (Jan) of Whigham, Georgia; grandchildren, Carla Curenton Armstrong (Bill) of Palm Coast, FL, Kimberly Curenton Carbia (Jose) of Palm Coast, FL, Shannon Kitchens of Cummings, GA, Ryan West (Jeanna) of Forsyth, GA, Christy Green (PJ) of Whigham, GA; great-grandchildren, Billy Armstrong, Blake Armstrong, Taylor Carbia, Jordan Carbia (Ava), Porter Kitchens, Annie West and Lula West, Emilee Green, Joni Green; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sons-in-law, Wayne Curenton and Leonard West; siblings, Ellen Rosa Rackley Bradshaw, Pauline Boyette, Lucille Davis, Faye Peel, Susie Era Lodge, O.V. Rackley, Hugh Rackley, Oman Hill Rackley and Ronald Rackley.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Hall’s memory to Whigham Baptist Church, P.O. Box 83, Whigham, GA 39897.
The family will receive friends at Whigham Baptist Church on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
