Memorial services for Lowette Jenkins Nehls, 80, of Thomasville, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Nehls passed away at her home on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

Mrs. Nehls was born on April 30, 1942, in Cairo, GA, to the late James Lonzo Jenkins and Karlene Jones Jenkins.  On June 9, 2009, she married William “Bill” Nehls, who survives.  Before her retirement, she was a sales associate with Walmart, Inc.  She loved traveling with her husband, whether by car or in their motorhome.

Survivors include: her husband, Bill Nehls of Thomasville, GA; daughter, Lana Howell (Gary) of Putney, GA; stepson, Travis Nehls of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Lee Donaldson of Washington State, Jamie Winters of Cairo, GA, Brandi Buckhaulter of Thomasville, GA, Alissa Brown of Cairo, GA,  Abel Howell of Putney, GA; great-grandchildren, Jada Brown, Coby Brown, Zack Brown, Trey Hall, Haley Hall; sister, Peggy Hall of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Tommy Dean Donaldson; and siblings, Johnny Jenkins, Ronnie Jenkins, Micky Jenkins, Gwen Ann West and Cindy Sheridan.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at Clark Funeral Home.
