Funeral services for Mary Ann Hunter, 85, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 25, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m., in Tallahassee National Cemetery, Tallahassee, FL. Mrs. Hunter passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA, on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Mrs. Hunter was born on May 3, 1939, in Portsmouth, NH, to the late Samuel Henry Kingsbury and the late Annie Maybelle Terrio Kingsbury. She married Larry Rodney Hunter in 1989, and he preceded her in death on September 30, 2024. She was a retired hospital personnel manager.

Survivors include daughters, Lisa Stuhler (David) of Bay City, TX, Patricia Pilkington (Jeff) of Bend, OR and Debra Allen of San Antonio, TX; stepson, Michael Hunter (Robin) of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Kelsey Maki, Austin Stuhler, Chase Pilkington and Gage Pilkington; great-grandchildren, Liam Maki and Bryson Maki; brother, Samuel Kingsbury of Florida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Russell Stephen Dekrone; sister, Shirley Winn; and brother, Dale Kingsbury.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
