Mary Lynn Clearman Johnson
June 3, 1959 – July 31, 2021

Graveside funeral services for Mary Lynn Clearman Johnson, 62, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery, Ochlocknee, GA.  Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate.  Mrs. Johnson passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Mrs. Johnson was born on June 3, 1959, in Colquitt, GA, to Luther Clearman and the late Barbara Chambers Clearman.  She graduated Miller County High School in 1977 and from Valdosta State University.  On July 18, 1987, she married Reese Johnson, Sr., who survives.  She was a dedicated math teacher for many years at Cairo High School.  She was a member of Colquitt United Methodist Church, Colquitt, GA.

Survivors include: her husband of 34 years, Reese Johnson, Sr. of Cairo, GA; children, Reese Johnson, Jr. of Kissimmee, FL, Jennie Johnson Lewis (Scott) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Walker Lewis, Nolan Lewis, Gabriel Lewis, Isabel Lewis, all of Thomasville, GA, Rhysa Johnson of Kissimmee, FL; father, Luther Clearman of Colquitt, GA; brother, Luke Clearman ( Patricia) of Colquitt, GA, niece, Lindsey Houston (Israel) of Colquitt, GA; nephew, Larry Johnson of Auburndale, FL;  great-nieces, Anna Kate Houston, Hallie Houston, both of Colquitt, GA; her canine companion, Zoe; and a host of extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Clearman.
