Mary Ricks Baggett
October 8, 1943 – July 19, 2020

Mary Floyd Ricks Baggett, 76, of Whigham, GA, passed away at her home in Whigham, GA, on Sunday, July 19, 2020.  Private funeral services will be in Providence Community Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Rev. Bob Knight will officiate.

Mrs. Baggett was born on October 8, 1943, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Thomas Harold Ricks and Ethel Lee Nix Ricks.  On September 26, 1963, she married Casey Hiram Baggett, who preceded her in death on July 16, 2020.  She retired from Joan-Art Mills, Inc. in Thomasville.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: children, Bobby H. Baggett of Climax, GA, Kenneth H. Baggett of Whigham, GA, Tracey Michelle Moore of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Denise A. Chitty of Alabama, Bobby Baggett of Georgia, Tracy L. Dollar of Whigham, GA, Kellie M. Edenfield of Whigham, Ga, Samantha N. Barber of Cairo, GA, Kayla N. Whitfield of Panama City, FL; great-grandchildren, John M. Whitfield, Abel Whitfield, Payton Barber, Riley Barber, Jayden D. Baggett, Jasmine A. Baggett; sister, Betty Sue Carroll (Wesley John) of Cairo, GA; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Ricks of Cairo, GA.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; grandson, Brandon W. Baggett; and a brother, Tommy Joe Ricks.
