Mr. Brock was born on April 14, 1953, in Bainbridge, GA, to his proud parents, the late Bradford Lee Brock and Dorothy Irene Godwin Brock. He was a graduate of Whigham High School. On October 21, 1972, he married Connie Sue Ulmer Brock, who was his high school sweetheart and wife of 48 years. He was a faithful member of Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Whigham, GA. After a 40-year career at Koyo Bearings USA, formerly the Torrington Company, he retired to come home to join his son’s business of restoring classic automobiles, which was their shared passion. He loved old muscle cars, but the rumble of a big block Chevrolet was always near and dear to him.
Mike loved and appreciated the farm life, being outdoors whether it was swinging an ax or casting a line in the pond. He was a true fisherman and was very good at it–most always sure to bring home a fine mess of fish to fry up for his family. Mike was a generous man, touching the lives of many along the way. He worked hard to provide for his family. He will greatly be missed.
