Funeral services for Mildred Sellars Williams, 92, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home. Rev. Ernie Beckwith will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Mrs. Williams passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in Bainbridge, GA.

Mrs. Williams was born on September 18, 1924, in Cairo, GA to the late Ira Sampson Sellars and Mamie Florence. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: daughters, Betty Griffin (Paul) of Lake Wales, FL, Dorothy Baggett (Bill) of Ochlocknee, GA, Jane Kelly of Whigham, GA; son, James Tilley (Linda) of Cairo, GA; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren; half-brothers, Ronald Sellars, Buddy Sellars, Durwood Sellars; and half-sisters, Doris Sexton, Francis McMillian, Marlene Ricks, Bernice Ponder.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Jimmy Tilley; great-grandchild, Tina Wilson; brothers, Joke, Henry, William Sellars; and sisters, Lenny Singletary, Gladys Reynolds, Lotchie Roop, Hattie Mae Nix.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, December 30, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., the funeral hour.
