Myrtle McLeod Bradley

Myrtle Donnie McLeod Bradley, age 88, of Cairo, GA passed away at her home on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Private funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.
Born on May 21, 1932 in Jasper, FL, to Eva Gamble and Angus McLeod; she was the youngest of 12 children. She graduated from Jasper High School. Mrs. Bradley, a retired Quality Control Supervisor for Ithaca Industries, was also a longtime member of Gordon Heights Baptist Church. After retirement she enjoyed working in her garden and growing home-grown vegetables. She was a loving and caring woman who adored spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The holidays were her favorite time of the year, Halloween most of all. She could often be found sitting under her carport listening to her wind chimes and passing out treats to the kids.
She is survived by: two daughters, Cassandra Rackley (Joel) of Newton, GA and Lynne Bradley of Thomasville, GA; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Banks of Cairo, GA; five grandchildren, Brad Rackley (Angie) of Wynnewood, OK, Ryan Bradley of Harvest, AL, Jason Rackley (Tina) of Diberville, MS, Trey Tomberlin of Thomasville, GA, and Cetoria Tomberlin of Rome, GA; five great-grandchildren, Kyli Silavent (Jason) of Slocomb, AL, Brantlee Kirkland of Cowarts, AL, Mary Calin and Kenlee Grace Rackley of Diberville, MS, Connor James Tomberlin of Ellaville, GA; two great-great grandchildren, McKenna Grace and Madelyn Gage Silavent of Slocomb, AL; and a very special family friend, Peggy Pettyjohn.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Eva Gamble and Angus McLeod; her beloved sons, Timothy Bradley and Kendall Bradley; as well as her siblings, Sarah McCall, Abbie McLeod, Angus McLeod, Henry McLeod, John McLeod, Ruby Sullivan, Chalmus McLeod, June Hancock, Charles McLeod, Mae Adams, and Tip McLeod.
To all of those who have shown love and prayed for Mama and the family, we would like to say Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
