Nancy Munro Andrews
May 5, 1943 – March 4, 2021

Graveside funeral services for Nancy Ann Munro Andrews, 77, of Cairo, GA, are on, Thursday, March 11, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate.  Mrs. Andrews passed away at her home on Thursday, March 4, 2021.

Mrs. Andrews was born on May 5, 1943, in St. Claire, MI, to the late James Richard Munro, Sr. and Betty Irene Fuller Munro.  On August 1, 1982, she married Alton Michael Andrews, who preceded her in death on February 25, 2013.  She was a dedicated educator that worked and obtained her doctoral degree.  Before her retirement, she was employed with the Grady County Board of Education as an elementary school teacher, after school activity director and summer fun and meal program coordinator.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: son, Brent Frederick (wife, DeAnn) of New Ulm, MN; grandchildren, Paige Frederick, Ty Frederick, and Cole Frederick, all of New Ulm, MN; brother, Jim Munro of Elmendorf, TX; sister, Marilynne Munro of Murphy, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
