Graveside funeral services for Norman H. Walsh, III, 74, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2018, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Mr. Walsh passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Mr. Walsh was born on February 1, 1944, in Cairo, GA, to the late Lt. Norman H. Walsh, Jr. and Anne Paulk Walsh Zappia. On April 4, 1964, he married Judy Salter Walsh, who survives. He was the automotive technology instructor with the Grady County Vocational Center at Cairo High School. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He loved to travel, especially the coast and the mountains.

Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Judy Walsh of Cairo, GA; daughter, Gina Walsh Whigham (Weldon) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Cole Whigham of Cairo, GA, Cydney Whigham of Cairo, GA, Morgan Whigham of Cairo, GA; brothers, Michael Zappia of Griffin, GA, Vincent Zappia (Nancy) of Suwanee, GA, Lannis Zappia of Cairo, GA; sister, Martha Zappia Long (Gary) of Dahlonega, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
