Norwood Lavon Clark, 66, of Whigham, GA, passed away in Whigham, GA, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery, Whigham, GA.

Mr. Clark was born on August 18, 1953, in Camilla, GA, to the late Norwood “Buck” Durham Clark and Elizabeth Davis Clark, who survives. He served his country in the United States Navy. On September 8, 1979, he married Ellen Ferrell Clark, who survives. He was a Horticulturist and a member of Providence Baptist Church. Lavon loved reading his Bible daily, he loved the outdoors, and loved his family.

Survivors include: his wife, Ellen Ferrell Clark of Whigham, GA; daughter, Laura Phillips (Nick) of Bainbridge, GA; son, Adam Clark (Sarah) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Zane Phillips of Bainbridge, GA, Ferrah Phillips of Bainbridge, GA, Addie Clark of Cairo, GA; mother, Beth Clark of Cairo, GA; brother, Jimmy Clark (Mindy) of Cairo, GA; sister, Lisa Sawyer (Tim) of Cairo, GA; and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his father, “Buck” Clark; brother, Keith Clark; sister, Wanda Clark.
