Patsey Harrell Simpson

Patsey H. Simpson, 70, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Monday, September 16, 2019. The family will be gathering at her daughter’s home. The family will have a private service at a later time.

Mrs. Simpson was born on September 18, 1948, in Cairo, GA, to the late Hubert Harrell and Freddie Musgrove Harrell. On June 8, 1969, she married Douglas Lorenza Simpson, who preceded her in death on February 1, 1996. She was a legal secretary and of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: daughter, Robin Godwin (Billy) of Cairo, GA; son, Brent Simpson (Natalie) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Tiffany Godwin, Bryce Godwin, Stephen Godwin, Alana Simpson, all of Cairo, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
