Paul David Majors

Memorial services for Paul David Majors, 72, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Pastor Johnny H. Moore and Rev. Kerry Dinkins will officiate.  Mr. Majors passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Mr. Majors was born on August 16, 1952, in Cairo, GA, to the late Hiram Corbin Majors and the late Dorothy Newton Majors.  On March 19, 1971, he married Glenda Bell Majors, who survives.  He was a member of the Cairo High School Class of 1970.  He was a master propagation specialist and worked with several nurseries over the years.  He was of the Christian faith.  Paul’s special time was spent with his grandchildren, going to their sports functions and taking trips to be with them.   They were his pride and joy.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Bell Majors of Cairo, GA; sons, Derrick Majors (Jennifer) of Cairo, GA and Jarrod Majors (Laura) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Corben Majors (fiancée Falyn) of Grand Forks, ND, Kyra Majors of Grand Forks, ND, Landyn Ferguson of Cairo, GA, Jarrod Majors, Jr. of Cairo, GA, Lillith Majors of Cairo, GA, Noah Majors of Cairo, GA and Alden Majors of Cairo, GA; great-grandson, Hayes Majors of Grand Forks, ND; and mother-in-law, Merle Bell of Cairo, GA.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Ann Majors Knight; and a brother, Johnny Majors.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the memorial service.
