Phyllis Kay Booth
June 3, 1948 – January 31, 2019
Phyllis Kay Booth, 70, of Reno, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Reno Community Center in Reno, GA. Family and friends are invited to attend.
Mrs. Booth was born on June 3, 1948, in Ft. Gaines, GA, to the late Austin Moody and Willa Maude Fortson Moody. On January 11, 1985, she married Lee Booth, who survives. She retired from the State of Florida as a records technician with over twenty years of employment. Kay loved FSU and Alabama football. She loved to travel, collect antiques, and attend auctions and flea markets. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Booth of Reno, GA; son, John Scott (Pam) of Tallahassee, FL; step-children, Sheila White (Tim) of Cairo, GA, Cynthia “Cindy” Kinsey of Tallahassee, FL, Davis Booth (Dineka) of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Austin Scott, Zachary Scott, Max White, Josh White, Noah White, Arianne Kinsey, Riley Kinsey, Tyler Booth, Baylee Booth, Bradley Gay, Taylor Gay Moyer, and Danelle Keen; brother, John Moody (Cheryl) of Shorterville, AL; and a special aunt and uncle, Robert and Martha Sue Fortson of Shorterville, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
